Discover Sustainable Elegance
Every piece in The Andes Project is made by hand in Northern Argentina - spun, dyed with plants, and woven on wooden looms by skilled artisans whose craft has been passed down for generations. These aren't mass-produced objects. They're slow-made, one-of-a-kind pieces that carry a story. When you bring one home, you're not just buying a cushion or a rug - you're keeping a tradition alive.

Learn about the process
It all begins with the families who raise and protect their sheep, ensuring the animals are healthy and the land is respected.
When the season is right, the fleece is carefully sheared by hand, a practice done with care to protect both the sheep and the wool.
The raw fleece is cleaned using traditional methods, removing impurities while keeping the natural qualities of the fibre intact.
Artisans spin the wool by hand with a spindle, twisting and re-twisting the fibres to create strong, durable yarn.
The yarn is dyed using pigments from plants, flowers, vegetables, minerals, or smoke. This natural process gives each strand its own depth of colour, never completely uniform, making every rug one of a kind.
Finally, the yarn is woven by hand on wooden looms, often built by the artisans themselves. A single rug can take weeks to finish, with every detail carrying the mark of skill, patience, and heritage.
